Cat Grooming

It is prevalent to bathe dogs, but many people ignore washing or shaving their cats. Cats are spotless animals by nature. They love to clean themselves while relaxing. However, this cannot be good, especially when the coat is full of dirt. Just imagine the thought of your cat cleaning and ingesting those dead dirty hair.  It is not healthy at all for her. It can make her sick, and above all,  she can end up vomiting. Typically in the wild, cats eat grass to relieve their pains, but a domestic cat is a different story at home.

Cats used to bathing and brushing at a younger age are comfortable with this activity type. We can even hear them purr, and it is a good sign that they are so relaxed. Cats that are not used to this activity can make them very uncomfortable, and we might need to bring them to the veterinarian to put them to sleep so that we can clean them properly.

As a professional trainer and groomer, I can teach you how to brush and bathe your kittens from an early age so that they can become comfortable. I can even show you how to clean their eyes, ears and to cut their nails.  If you have an adult cat, it is not too late to help them get used to the activity.  There is a proper way to handle and work with them. We want to make it a pleasant experience. Cats are good at remembering things and will always avoid an unpleasant experiences.
